The event represents a huge potential for UK retail and we need to think about how we can make the most of the international spotlight which will fall upon London and the rest of the UK. Multi-channel Retail Summit = Success!

It's great when a plan comes together...as it did at the Multi-channel Retail Summit, held this January in Reigate, Surrey. K3, The Retail People, were proud to be lead sponsors for this event, and we've been overwhelmed with the positive response from all the retailers who attended.

The event featured a great line-up of speakers, including a keynote from Asda's Excutive Development Director. Doug Gurr, Joe Tarragano from eBay and Roz Hunt, Head of Online for Lloyds Pharmacy. K3's own Tony Bryant delivered a great presentation on "What Does Multi-channel Strategy Mean to a Bricks and Mortar Retailer".

" This years multi-channel summit was a very successful event, with more than 80 retailers joining us for a busy day packed with presentations and thought provoking comment around one of the most talked about topics in retailing today", Tony writes in the introduction to the post-event report written by retail journalist Gynn Davis. Let’s Get Engaged

The Retail People are getting ready to ENGAGE at this year's K3 User Forum. This annual event is one of the most talked about in our calender and we enjoy the chance to share the latest knowledge on many topics relating to Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Multichannel Retailing, EPOS and more. In fact there are 24 breakout sessions run by industry experts, so attendees are guaranteed to find something that will fuel their interest and give them something to take away with them.

ENGAGE will be held on the 19th of March at the Four Pillars Hotel, South Cerney, Gloucestershire. Speakers include K3 customers Digital Village, iForce and The White Company. K3 Stages Mini Expo

As the lead sponsor of the show, K3 came in with cape flying, valiantly staging a Mini Expo in Kensington on the 28th of January. "(We) felt it important to provide the industry with an opportunity to meet with suppliers and understand how the industry is tackling the current downturn".

Suppliers handPoint and Protouch signed up early to the free event, keen to take the opportunity to inject some positive thinking back into the collective 'retail conscious'. We look forward to seeing the response to the Retail Business Summit and Spring Fair in February, and fervently hope they can help boost optimism and create new opportunities.
